Our story
Design never works alone
The Design Week is a global initiative by Bokrati Media. We're based in India, and we look both ways: we bring designers from around the world to Indian readers, and we take India's designers to the world. A new story goes live every day.
You'll find it across five pillars: Building Block, Fashion, Design Things, Tech Zone and WanderLux. Every day brings a design-led story, feature or interview, and once a week one of them is our anchor long-read. Saturdays belong to WanderLux, Sundays to Building Block. Coming soon is Design in Progress, a weekly interview series with emerging designers from any discipline, anywhere in the world.
We're a small team putting everything we have into researching, editing and producing good work about design. To keep the pace up on a limited budget, we use AI and other tools, and we're grateful for that support from out tech team. Without those tools and tech, a team our size couldn't produce at this quality or this rhythm.
